NaBloPoMo Day XVI: It is not Christmas season!

I think it is a crime that radio stations have already been playing Christmas songs, I believe since Halloween. Starting at Thanksgiving, I believe is acceptable as the start of of the holiday season, but still pushing it. When I was a kid, it didn't really kick of until St. Nicholas Day on December 6th. But then, we celebrated the 12 days of Christmas, with a larger gift on the first couple of days, then smaller gifts such as undies & socks with a puzzle book or pack of gum for the rest.
